DONATE TO RISING STAR VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

12th Annual Dove Fest and 4th Annual Fly-In & Cruise-In

All proceeds benefit the Rising Star Volunteer Fire Department, which responds to emergencies across our rural community. The department’s annual operating cost exceeds $95,000, and this year they’re facing an urgent need to replace a brush truck damaged during a recent rescue—an estimated $50,000 loss.

A short note from Lisa @ Airspace - Some of you worldwide aviators know, we call Rising Star and TX88 home. The Rising Star Volunteer Fire Department helped save our home in 2022 and have helped countless other members of our little community as well. Supporting the RSVFD is a worthy cause and the community fly in is a fantastic event for all aviation and car enthusiasts.

This year is dedicated to Bushy, a brush truck that helped us save many citizens. In spring of 2025 she was badly damaged during a rescue operation. Our goal this year is to restore Bushy so we can return her to service.
